About The Position
Athena Care has been providing high-quality, accessible mental health care for over twenty years. We are an insurance-based practice expanding across Tennessee and are seeking a therapist near Hendersonville to join our team. We offer a comprehensive range of services including psychological testing, IOP/PHP, Spravato/IM Ketamine, TMS, psychotherapy, group therapy, and general psychiatry. This multidisciplinary approach ensures patients receive comprehensive care and allows clinicians to work with unique and interesting colleagues.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Full licensure in Tennessee (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT) and able to practice independently.
- Comfortable with EMR systems and standard tech tools.
- HIPAA-savvy and committed to ethical, patient-centered practice.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience providing mental health services.
- BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or children navigating behavioral health challenges.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR system.
- Collaborate regularly with the broader care team.
- Maintain licensure and practice ethically.
- Engage as a thoughtful and supportive member of the team.
