About The Position

Daybreak Health partners with over 100 school districts and Kaiser Permanente to provide teletherapy services to students aged 11-24 across California. We are seeking licensed California therapists (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) who are looking for a stable caseload, consistent referrals, and the opportunity to significantly impact student well-being. Candidates can choose between a W-2 employment with full benefits or a 1099 flexible contract. The position is 100% remote. While candidates do not need to reside in California, they must hold a valid California therapist license. Associate therapists are not eligible for this role.

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT credentials in the State of California.
  • Experience diagnosing, treatment planning, and working with youth and families in clinical or school settings.
  • Strong telehealth skills and reliable high-speed Internet connection.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive care and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11–24 with mild-to-moderate mental health conditions.
  • Build trusted relationships with youth and families.
  • Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers.
