About The Position

Odyssey House is seeking a Mental Health Therapist for our Outpatient Program. Odyssey House of Utah is a leading organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and behavioral health challenges. Requirements

• Skilled clinician with experience working across the spectrum of adverse mental and behavioral symptoms.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (CSWi, CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, MFTi, AMFT, LMFT).
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
• Eligible to work in the USA.
• Must adhere to Odyssey House mission, philosophy, and scope of service.
• Must adhere to Division of Human Services Code of Conduct and all other relevant service contract requirement standards.
• Must ensure a safe environment for all clients and staff.
• Must provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Must foster a positive work environment.
• Must ensure high-quality client care within the scope of the assigned position.
• Must clearly understand roles and responsibilities regarding specific job position, time management, personnel file requirements, client record system, incident reporting, mandatory training requirements, maintaining proper client boundaries, and individual rights of clients and staff.
• Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, fingerprinting, applicable sex offender registry screenings for Adult Residential roles, and other position-related verifications.
• For roles requiring driving: Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and valid Utah driver’s license.
