About The Position

Hands On Health Associates, LLC is a community-focused outpatient behavioral health clinic serving the diverse and resilient residents of New York. We provide culturally responsive care to individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, trauma, drug dependence, housing instability, and other complex social stressors. We offer supervision toward LMHC, LMSW and LCSW licensure, a flexible schedule with minimal weekend work, and a genuine commitment to work/life balance. We are looking for a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit) who will provide mental health and substance abuse services to clients to enhance their recovery. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Requirements

  • LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP or MSW-LP (Required)
  • 1+ years experience in OMH/OASAS environment (Required)
  • EHR documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment (Strongly Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform intake assessments
  • Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
  • Create individualized treatment plans for each client
  • Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
  • Perform regular patient outreach
  • Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
