Our therapists provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and their families, including assessing treatment needs, developing and reviewing treatment plans, and determining discharge criteria in an outpatient setting. Therapists are responsible for completing and maintaining required intake forms, documentation, and discharge planning by specified dates, and maintaining outcome measures for the effectiveness of treatment. Tykes & Teens is a CE-Broker supported organization and we provide over 12 hours of continued education per year in addition to weekly staffing to support your clinical growth. We also provide free Clinical Supervision toward licensure. This is a Full-Time Position split between our Infant Mental Health and General Mental Health Departments, seeing clients between the ages of 0-18 years old.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree
  • A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance
  • An ability to work in a team environment
  • Licensed or registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491
  • Two years of experience in working with children and families
  • An active and clear State of Florida License - LCSW, LMHC, LMFT (for licensed positions)
