About The Position

Soar Therapy and Integrated Wellness is hiring an LCSW, LPC, or Resident in Counseling to join our growing outpatient clinic in Northern Virginia. We are a trauma-focused, somatic-oriented practice serving adolescents (13+) and adults who are ready to engage in meaningful therapeutic work. Our clinical culture centers on emotional regulation, depth therapy, and long-term change. Our team values accountability, clinical growth, and consistency in care. We are a structured, supportive environment where clinicians are expected to take ownership of their work, engage in ongoing learning, and contribute to a team culture that prioritizes client outcomes. We balance autonomy with clear expectations, and we are intentional about building a team that is reliable, collaborative, and committed to long-term clinical development. This is a full-time W2 position averaging 25 completed sessions per week, with clinicians working three in-office days to support both clinic needs and personal structure. Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in person and available to work 10-7 or 11-8 (In Person)

Requirements

Licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or Resident in Counseling in Virginia
Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience required
Strong clinical skills in working with trauma, anxiety, or related concerns
Demonstrated ability to write clear, organized, and clinically sound documentation
Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Experience or training in trauma-focused modalities (EMDR, IFS, CBT, or somatic approaches)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain engagement
Comfort facilitating or willingness to develop group therapy offerings
2-4 years of outpatient experience
Strong readiness to work in a full caseload environment
Comfortable setting, clear boundaries with clients, including attendance and treatment expectations
Are open to contributing beyond individual sessions, including facilitating groups or specialty offerings
Comfortable managing a consistent caseload of 25 plus clients and maintaining strong client retention
Is comfortable with receiving feedback
Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability

Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy to a consistent caseload
Build strong rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients
Develop collaborative and effective treatment plans that guide the course of care
Provide clear clinical recommendations, including frequency and treatment direction
Apply somatic-based interventions such as mindfulness, breathwork, or body-based techniques within sessions
Maintain timely and compliant documentation, including completion of notes within 48 hours
Contribute to the development and facilitation of group therapy or specialty services (e.g., DBT, somatic-based groups, mindfulness, or related offerings)
Collaborate with a team of clinicians and contribute to the overall clinical culture
