About The Position

New Haven Residential Treatment Center in Spanish Fork, Utah, is seeking a passionate Clinical Therapist to lead therapeutic efforts for adolescent girls ages 12–17. This role involves providing clinical guidance, supporting staff development, and engaging families in a healing process that addresses trauma, emotional regulation, and relational challenges in a nurturing, home-like environment. The position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a mission-driven team dedicated to transformative, family-centered care. The role focuses on weekend work, specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a pay rate of $50.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.
  • Committed to client growth through collaborative, team-based care.
  • Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment.
  • Must pass a state background check.
  • Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.
  • One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
  • Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process.
  • Organize and lead two-day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.
