About The Position

Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to provide counseling services through our Partners for Change recovery program. This is an in-person, office-based position located in West Palm Beach, Florida. This position works with adolescents and adults impacted by substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns, and other life challenges, helping clients develop coping skills, strengthen support systems, and achieve their recovery goals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
• State of Florida Registered Intern or licensed clinician.
• Experience providing psychotherapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and recovery-oriented care.
• Experience utilizing Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Relapse Prevention, and Harm Reduction approaches.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services through the Partners for Change recovery program.
• Work with adolescents and adults impacted by substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns, and other life challenges.
• Help clients develop coping skills, strengthen support systems, and achieve their recovery goals.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and complete clinical documentation.
