About The Position

Vesta, Inc. is a financially stable, not-for-profit mental health organization with offices throughout Maryland. We specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare, including clinic, day programs, and residential homes for individuals facing mental health disorders. We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team at our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Silver Spring, Maryland. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide vital clinical services to individuals coping with a variety of diagnoses, including severe mental illness. Your responsibilities will encompass individual, family, and group therapy, alongside treatment planning and collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, ensuring top-notch mental health care delivery to our consumers.

Requirements

• Licensed Social Worker or Professional Counselor licensed in the state of Maryland (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, LGMFT, LCMFT)
• Recent social work and counseling interns encouraged to apply!
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening required.

• Supervision provided for graduate-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team for treatment planning and evaluation
• Prepare socio-psychiatric case history information and treatment plans
• Ability to provide supervision preferred but not required.
