You’ll work one-on-one with adult clients who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, stress, or significant changes in their personal lives. Your time will be spent meeting with clients, understanding what brought them to therapy, and helping them work through the issues affecting their day-to-day lives. You’ll set goals together, choose an approach that fits the situation, and revisit the plan as clients make progress or their needs change. There is also a clinical documentation component to the role, along with appropriate follow-up when a client’s situation raises safety or risk concerns.
