About The Position

Lyra Clinical Associates partners with Lyra Health, a leading provider of evidence-based mental health care, serving millions globally. The company has delivered millions of sessions of mental health care and aims to transform access to life-changing mental health care through Lyra Empower, an AI-powered platform. This role involves being contracted by Lyra Clinical Associates to provide mental health care to Lyra members. The opportunity is for independently licensed clinical therapists with experience in culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, teens, and their families. It is ideal for providers seeking well-matched and motivated pediatric clients and who are excited to pilot innovative care protocols and techniques. Participation in training on Lyra's proprietary curriculum and collaborative care model is encouraged.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC)
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent license (able to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable practicing telehealth via video
  • Full-time resident of the United States

Responsibilities

  • Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, teens, and their families.
  • Pilot innovative care protocols and techniques grounded in evidence-based practice.
  • Practice evidence-based techniques to motivate, guide, and help members meet their goals successfully, including CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PMT, and EMDR.
  • Apply clinical best practices such as measurement-based care and promoting skills practice.
  • Work effectively within a collaborative care framework, coordinating with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and wellness coaches.
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process, educating them on treatment goals, and adapting approaches to incorporate family dynamics and support.
  • Adhere to quality standards for documentation, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant records of assessments, treatment plans, and session notes.
  • Practice telehealth via video, ensuring member confidentiality and security, and addressing technical issues promptly.
  • Meet with clients who are primarily or exclusively available in the evenings or Saturdays.
