About The Position

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist Team Leader to be part of our Recovery Education Center (REC) Team. A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years. The REC Team Leader oversees the implementation of the REC program, ensures integrity to the Recovery Education model, and provides leadership, consultation, direction and guidance to a team of clinicians and peer support specialists. As a clinician on the team, the Team Leader provides assessment, treatment, psychiatric rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with a broad range of mental health and substance use challenges, and assists in coordinating care across programs within our organization and also with other providers in the community.

Requirements

  • Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Certification required
  • LCMHC-S or a different license that includes the certification of qualified supervisor
  • Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
  • Excellent listening and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years clinical social work experience preferred
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Bilingual a plus
