About The Position

Provides ongoing mental health and psychosocial client services. Services delivered include screening and assessing client needs and determining relevant treatment plans. Initiates or participates in community development initiatives, participating in PHC initiatives evaluation within site. Promotes quality health care outcomes working within established standards of practice to ensure that clients receive a high standard of primary health care. This will be done in accordance with organization mission statement, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Undergraduate degree in a health related field
  • Bachelor of Physical Therapy is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Chemical Dependency is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Education is acceptable
  • Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
  • Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.

  • Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
