About The Position

Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health is seeking a Master's level Clinician to join their innovative team in Tacoma, Washington, serving Pierce County. This role focuses on providing individualized, creative, and flexible family-oriented behavioral health care for children, youth, and families, primarily in their homes and communities. They employ nearly 800 individuals across multiple sites and offer comprehensive intensive, wrap-around mental health services. The position requires scheduling flexibility to meet client needs and involves participation in an on-call rotation. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent, accredited degree.
  • Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrate the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
  • Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations as needed.
  • Should be able to participate in on-call rotation responsibilities.
  • Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record per CCS policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) principles and practice preferred, but not required at time of hire.
  • Preference for a flexible schedule rather than a traditional, fixed 8-5 Monday through Friday facility-based position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide family-oriented, strength-based mental health services for children and families in their own home and community.
  • Work flexible schedules based on the needs of those served.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with other Clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators.
  • Offer a high level of collaboration, coordination, and intensive behavior health services.
  • Actively partner with clients and their natural and community services and supports to achieve long-term safety and stability.
  • Serve as a catalyst for change, offering new approaches and challenging traditional service delivery.
  • Be based out of the FBH Northend, Tacoma office.
  • Provide services in community-based settings and family homes.
  • Schedule flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families served.
