About The Position
The Mental Health Therapist is a vital role at MultiCare, responsible for the delivery of clinical counseling and case management services. From providing therapeutic interventions in a variety of treatment modalities to actively advocating on behalf of the patients, this position will offer you dynamic work engagements every day. Requirements
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health related field required
- Washington State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registered (ACCR) credential must be applied for within thirty (30) days of hire. Employees can work while in pending status.
- Grace periods will be adjusted in accordance with DOH requirements: Counselor Agency Affiliated Certified, Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
- Drivers License/Abstract
- BLS - Basic Life Support (required at Navos)
- First Aid (required at Navos)

- Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered counseling, advocacy and case management for patients
- Develop treatment plans which clearly identify the patient’s voice, treatment strategies, and specific outcome measures
- Meet agency documentation standards
- Meet authorization requirements of contracts
- Strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meet diverse patient needs
