About The Position

Join a dedicated interdisciplinary team providing intensive, year-round therapeutic support in a day-program setting for children and adolescents (ages 5–21). Our program focuses on clients who require significant support but remain at home, with a requirement that those 18 and older are enrolled in school full-time.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a social service or education field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, etc.).
  • At least one year of experience working with children and families.
  • Must be able to obtain Act 33 (Child Abuse), Act 34 (Criminal Record), and FBI Clearances.
  • Strong clinical writing skills and a desire to work with children facing mental and behavioral health challenges.

  • Gain experience in diverse modalities (Narrative, Behavioral, etc.) within a supportive clinical environment.
  • We provide specialized training in crisis management and de-escalation to ensure you are equipped to intervene safely.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update Treatment Plan (TP) objectives and provide clinical input for 20-day treatment reviews.
  • Facilitate individual and family therapy, as well as lead "in-the-moment" therapeutic interventions within the classroom.
  • Lead and assist the team in de-escalating client crises as they occur.
  • Act as the primary liaison for service coordination with families, school districts, and outside agencies (CYS/Juvenile Probation).
  • Complete admission intakes and maintain precise, objective clinical records.
