About The Position

Catholic Community Services' Family Behavioral Health Team is seeking a Clinician to join their innovative team. This organization provides family-oriented behavioral health care for children, youth, and families, primarily in their homes and communities. The team offers individualized, creative, and flexible services using evidence-based strategies to help children and youth remain safely in their homes with their families. They aim to restore hope, provide intense mental health services and supports, and strengthen family unity. The organization has multiple sites across Washington and Oregon and employs nearly 600 individuals. They value compassion, diversity, a strength-based approach, social justice, and their staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent, accredited degree.
  • Energetic, innovative style with the ability to engage children, youth, and family members in services.
  • Enthusiastic and optimistic approach, encouraging ongoing participation of all involved.
  • Natural ability to work with others through a genuine strengths-based approach, appreciating unique qualities and assets of all involved.
  • Passion for helping families stay together.

  • Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes.
  • Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations.
  • Should be able to participate in on-call rotation responsibilities.
  • Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record per CCS policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for a flexible schedule rather than a traditional, fixed 8-5, Monday through Friday, facility-based position.
  • Bi-lingual fluency skills in Spanish and English, or other languages, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide family, strength-based mental health services for children and families in their own home and community.
  • Offer individualized, creative, and flexible services, infused with evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies.
  • Help children and youth remain safely in their own home with their family.
  • Restore hope, provide intense mental health services and supports, and help strengthen family unity.
  • Work flexible schedules, based on family needs, including evenings and weekends, in the home and community setting of the youth and families.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with other Clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators.
  • Offer a high level of collaboration, coordination, and intensive behavior health services while allowing room for creativity and needs-driven work.
  • Achieve incredible outcomes with children, youth, and families by actively partnering with them along with their natural and community services and supports to achieve long-term safety and stability.
  • Provide services to youth and families in the community and in their homes, as needed.
  • Support and uphold the mission, beliefs, and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.
