Requirements

Ability to work under close supervision with distractions/demanding patients and follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Good physical and mental health as evidenced by warm empathic attitude
Respect for the dignity, worth, and potentiality of each person and a high sense of personal integrity
Must be able to stand on feet for long intervals and ability to lift a patient in order to provide care according to the essential job function

Responsibilities

Documenting patients' observed behaviors, vital signs, and significant occurrences
Assisting nurses and activity directors in delivering essential therapeutic interventions
Coordinating lunch distribution
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness post-meal
Attending to patients’ needs during lunchtime
Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as diaper changes, bathing, and feeding
Overseeing the overall cleanliness of the facility to create a safe and welcoming environment for all
