As a Founding Mental Health Technician, you’ll play a key role in shaping patient experience, team culture, and daily operations from day one. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least 2+ years experience in direct patient care (or similar)
At least 18 years of age (age requirements vary by program)
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm, professional, and supportive in high-energy environments
Interest in behavioral health, psychology, human services, or healthcare careers

Nice To Haves

bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, supervision, and support in a therapeutic environment
Build rapport with patients and assist with daily living activities and emotional support
Support patients during crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
Lead or assist with group sessions and one-on-one therapeutic interactions
Reinforce evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and ERP techniques
Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and safety
Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for patients and visitors
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient orientation
Transport patients as needed for appointments or activities
