Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire (Required)
- NCI -Non-violent Crisis Intervention or current program Within Facility-Specified time frame (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Prior Experience working in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient safety, welfare, and the implementation of therapeutic milieu and treatment plans.
- Serve as a patient observer on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require any degree of observation in order to maximize patient safety.
- Perform general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficiency of the nursing unit.
