About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Technicians to support individuals in a mental health residential treatment facility providing acute stabilization. We strive to create a safe, structured and therapeutic environment where individuals receive compassionate care and essential services to promote stability and recovery. This role focuses on daily living support, crisis intervention, and monitoring, ensuring that clients receive the care and structure needed for stabilization. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic and committed to providing support for patient well-being. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurable driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality regulations
  • Capable of strict adherence to policies and procedures
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Competently communicates effectively verbally and in writing
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams
  • Adept at learning and navigating electronic health record systems
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screen as required by federal and state regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment or related field is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to individuals while maintaining a structured, therapeutic and safe environment for clients
  • Monitor and assist with self-administration of medication, ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
  • Implement individualized personal care plans for each client with a focus on individual goals and needs
  • Observe and document client behaviors, mood changes and progress to the treatment team
  • De-escalate and respond to crisis situations using approved intervention techniques
  • Facilitate group activities and structured skill-building exercises to promote independence and coping strategies
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff, nurses, physicians and management staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Follow all facility policies, safety procedures and confidentiality regulations to maintain compliance
  • Maintain clear and professional documentation of interactions, incidents and interventions
