About The Position

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is a large healthcare management company with a nationwide presence. Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18. We are seeking full-time Mental Health Technicians to join our team. The MHT functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing care to patients in a manner that promotes safety, comfort, and the therapeutic environment, while role modeling to adolescent girls ranging ages 12 through 18. MHTs provide supervision in a treatment or educational milieu; assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure environment that enhances treatment and/or educational effectiveness, and is able to intervene effectively in crisis situations.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous working experience in mental health.
• Must be able to pass AHCA level 2 background screen and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities
