About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use services while making a lasting impact in the lives of individuals in our community. As a Mental Health Technician, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges. Working in participants' homes and throughout the community, you will help them develop the skills and confidence needed to live as independently as possible.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for documentation.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in human services, mental health, healthcare, or customer service is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support in participants' homes and community settings.
Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal goals, and community integration.
Support medication monitoring and encourage healthy routines.
Promote recovery, independence, and overall well-being.
Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Build positive, respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
