Mental Health Technician

Requirements
- High School Diploma with at least 1 year of experience as a Psych Tech or Equivalent. PRTF only must be 21 or older.
- Must be listed on the Nurse Assistant Registry operated by the North Dakota Department of Health at the time of hire or within 90 days of employment.
- Will obtain the following within six (6) months of employment: -Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification -Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting – APS- IA & NE -First Aid – PRTF only
- BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institude: CPR, PRO, must say “Professional Level with AED”, and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
