About The Position

Monte Nido Clementine West Nyack is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. The program supports adolescents and their families through recovery by helping adolescents develop healthy skills and live free of the eating disorder, while engaging families as partners in the recovery process. The Full Time Recovery Coach supports clients throughout their recovery journey and provides interventions consistent with their treatment plans. The role includes engaging clients in healthy connections with peers and the care team, assisting with food preparation and meal supervision, participating in therapeutic groups, conducting rounds and observations, and occasionally driving clients off-site for appointments and activities. The position is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and pays $17–$22 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of post-high-school education.
A valid state-issued driver’s license and a safe driving history.
Good communication and client relations skills.
Service orientation, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred.
At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired; required in some states.

Responsibilities

Integrate and support clients through their recovery journey.
Provide support and intervention consistent with each client’s treatment plan.
Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with other clients in the milieu and with the team.
Assist with food preparation and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
Gain exposure to therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
Conduct rounds and provide observations.
Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
