The position demands flexibility, problem-solving skills, efficiency, and the ability to work under high stress and volume. Constructive interaction with patients, families, and colleagues, punctuality, and adherence to the attendance policy are essential. The role requires good physical and mental health, respect for others, integrity, and the ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and handle distractions. Certification in Healthcare Provider CPR and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) is necessary, along with effective English communication skills. The job also requires the ability to stand for long intervals and possess the dexterity for physical restraint of patients when necessary.
