About The Position

Are you passionate about supporting clients in managing their mental health challenges? At Epiphany Wellness, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of care using proven methods to support our clients’ well-being. We are looking for a Mental Health Technician who will work closely with clients to build essential life skills, coping strategies, and stability, helping them lead fulfilling lives free from the difficulties of mental health challenges.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with a minimum 2-year clean driving record (required).

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year in the Mental Health field (preferred).
• Mental Health Technician Certification (Preferred)
• CPR and Standard First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Working knowledge of 12-Step Program, AA or NA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, structured environment for clients through regular rounds, observation, and adherence to daily/weekly schedules.
• Observe medication that is a controlled substance and ensure clients complete self-observation sheets.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups such as Empower Hour and complete required screenings (e.g., CSSRS) for clients reporting suicidal ideation.
• Transport clients to appointments, clinical services, and activities in accordance with Epiphany’s driving policy.
• Complete accurate documentation for intakes, rounds, and shift notes, and communicate clearly through the team chat.
• Respond to crisis situations, including SI/HI reporting, client altercations, relapse, or AMA situations, and escalate through the proper chain of command.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and staff, and stay flexible for schedule needs including last-minute coverage.
