About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit working in the pediatric unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital Jacksonville Fl, (Downtown). This is a Full Time Nights opportunity working from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Requirements
- Behavioral Health experience
- High School Diploma
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI)
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Documents observations on assigned patients.
- Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
- Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
