About The Position
This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position working a standard schedule at each of SpectraCare's residential programs. The work hours for this position are Pittman Schedule, 7pm-7am. Week One: Monday, Thursday and Friday. Week Two: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Base Pay: $14.00/hr with $2.00 shift differential.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be insurance eligibility requirements (21 years or older)
- Good MVR
- Willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
Responsibilities
- Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
- Ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
- Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
