Mental Health Technician - Co-Occurring

About The Position
This is a full time, 40 hour/week position working a standard schedule at Co-Occurring Group Home. The schedule involves 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with Week I including Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and Week II including Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The base pay is $14.00/hr.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be 21 years or older, good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
Responsibilities
- Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
- Ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
- Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
