About The Position

Piedmont Eastside is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians to care for patients with psychiatric illnesses within its 62-bed Behavioral Health Unit. This recovery-oriented program offers opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative care environment. The unit includes an Adult Psych Unit (ages 18-64), a Geriatric Psych Unit (ages 65 and older, where patients require assistance with all aspects of daily living), an Intensive Outpatient Program, and ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy). There is also a New Graduate Program for RN's passionate about Behavioral Health.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
BLS - American Heart Association required
Crisis Prevention within 60 days of hire

Nice To Haves

B.S/B.A in behavioral health sciences preferred.
Preferred experience in Behavioral health and/ or addictive disease.

Responsibilities

Supports the mission of the organization as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of the highest quality healthcare to include individualized patient and family-centered, holistic and supportinve care in a save and caring environment.
Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registred Nurse for a group of patients for a designated time fram and provides care and interaction to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment with assistance from other healthcare members.
Functions as a member of the therapeutic team as designed by the policies and procecedures of Piedmont Behavioral Health.
