About The Position

Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services is a robust, free-standing psychiatric hospital offering dedicated services to adolescents and adults from the surrounding Birmingham community. With an average census of 150 patients, Hill Crest features acute inpatient, residential, and group home settings. We do not treat medically compromised individuals beyond our scope of care. We currently treat: Acute Adults, Acute Adolescents, Forensic Adult Males, Residential Males and Females. Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements

Verifiable High School Diploma/ GED required!!! Proof (transcript/degree document) will be requested
One year of experience in a psychiatric setting/patient care preferred
Able to obtain a CPR certification and non-violent crisis prevention certification (company will train)
MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.

Responsibilities

MENTAL HEALTH TECH MALE UNIT
FULL-TIME 8 HOUR SHIFTS ON WEEKDAYS (M-F) PLUS 12-HOUR SHIFTS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
VERY LIMITED OPENINGS AUG - SEPT 2026
MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8- business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.
