About The Position
Mental Health Techs (MHT) at Peachford are degreed professionals who provide coordinated patient care to individuals with mental health, psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses. MHT use their knowledge of behavioral health issues to assist patients through the continuum of care.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in psychology, sociology, social worker or other related field of study
- Previous experience providing care in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric or addictive disease setting
- Interest in psychiatric, mental health and/or behavioral health
- Passion for providing patient care in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Providing coordinated patient care to individuals with mental health, psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses.
- Assisting patients through the continuum of care using knowledge of behavioral health issues.
