About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Team Leader to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. This role provides support and guidance to residents, implements program policies, and offers counseling to clients to promote recovery. The Team Leader works collaboratively with team members and nurses to ensure resident needs are met, monitors treatment plans, and leads recreational groups. Responsibilities include assisting clients with daily living activities, accompanying them on community trips, engaging them in social activities, and ensuring their health and safety. Accurate record-keeping, monitoring compliance with house rules, and reporting unusual situations to the administrator on call are also key duties. The role requires timely completion of documentation and participation in all trainings and meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience working in Mental/Behavioral health
• Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provides support and guidance to all residents.
• Implements program policy and procedure according to program regulations and guidelines.
• Provides counseling to individual clients, processing concerns and issues with them in a manner that promotes recovery.
• Works collaboratively with team members and nurse on shift to ensure all resident needs are met.
• Implements and monitors treatment of clients.
• Leads or co-leads recreational groups.
• Assists, teaches, and monitors client's daily living activities, including but not limited to personal hygiene, bathing, shaving, grooming dressing, laundry, and room care.
• Accompanies and monitors clients on community trips.
• Engages clients in social and leisure activities.
• Assures the health and safety of the clients.
• Maintains accurate and adequate records.
• Monitors complaints with house rules.
• Reports to administrator on call any immediate or unusual situations(s).
• Mediates problematic issues between clients in a timely manner.
• Attends and participates in all trainings and meetings.
• Timely completion of all site and licensing documentation pertaining to client progress and site concerns.
