About The Position

Inova Center for Personal Health is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician Coordinator to join the team. This role will be full-time nights, 3-12's (Wednesday, Friday & Saturday) 7:30pm-8:00am. Inova is consistently ranked as a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Requirements

• High School
• One-year relevant experience
• BLS from the American Heart Association. Upon start

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support by answering phones, transcribing orders and maintaining charts.
• Communicate abnormal values and clinical changes to the appropriate staff member within 15 minutes.
• Answer and screens telephone calls while providing appropriate information or referring to other staff members.
• Schedules for appointments in automated scheduling system. Make copies, sends/receives faxes and opens/distribute mail.
• Reinforces transition/discharge teaching and home care skills.
