About The Position

This full-time Mental Health Support Specialist position is part of their STRONG program (Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation), which values each child and strives to provide them with a brighter future. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, and preferably in a field related to mental health
- Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents with severe emotional/behavioral disorders (minimum of 1 year required)
- Strong desire for youth mental health advocacy
- Willingness to support and uphold the mission of Christian Family Solutions in the clinical setting required
- Team player with effective written and verbal communication skills to lead groups and work alongside the STRONG treatment team
- Competency in cross- or multi-cultural settings required
- CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certified after hire

- Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred
Responsibilities
- Facilitate psycho-educational skills groups for children and adolescents admitted into the program
- Provide general client care
- Provide de-escalation services
- Support the clinical services team
