Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Some previous experience working directly with individuals with mental health diagnoses and disabilities
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written
- Ability to successfully complete all required training programs
- Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI Clearance, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience in residential services, behavioral health, recovery-oriented care, or human services
- Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care and person-centered practices
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses
Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented support that promotes safety, empowerment, emotional wellness, and personal growth.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, goal achievement, budgeting, community participation, and independent living skills.
- Coordinate and support medical appointments, medication administration oversight, and health-related needs.
- Encourage social engagement, recreational participation, positive coping skills, and the development of natural support systems.
- Complete documentation, maintain compliance with agency and HIPAA standards, and help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment.
