This role focuses on providing compassionate, culturally sensitive services to residents within a house or unit setting. The specialist is responsible for ensuring residents attend and are on time for all clinical activities, with pre-approval required for any absences. A key aspect of the role is fostering a positive living environment and implementing the agency's Behavioral Management Plan and milieu model with fidelity. The specialist will also provide life skills training, participate in treatment team meetings, and communicate effectively about resident progress and program operations. Maintaining the structure, cleanliness, and organization of the living space is also a core duty.
