As a Mental Health Specialist II, you will provide hands-on care, assisting individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, while fostering independence. You will also support mental health and behavioral management by utilizing your skills to help individuals overcome challenging behaviors, offering compassionate, person-centered care. A key part of the role is creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that ensures comfort and support, helping individuals reach their personal goals. Additionally, you will mentor and guide individuals, providing supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help them achieve their aspirations.
