Requirements

• Must have a master’s degree in mental health counseling or clinical social work
• Must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire
• Strong understanding of medical documentation and record-keeping practices
• Ability to provide clinical counseling for clients with diverse needs
• Maintains up to date clinical case management knowledge and skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in mental health counseling (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Office-based outpatient counseling services for children and adults
• Conduct assessments and assist in the development of individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Provide emotional support through active listening and discussing concerns
• Encourage clients to make good choices and achieve personal goals
• Collaborate with the entire care/treatment team, including outside partnerships, to ensure comprehensive patient care and implement effective interventions
• Consistently act with honesty and integrity, while demonstrating a strong commitment to quality services and the interests of clients served
