Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time
About The Position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Mental Health Unit team. This is a part-time position. The recruitment is open until filled. Pay is determined by hire type and relevant experience, with RN 1 starting at $43.78/hour, RN 2 at $46.51/hour, and RN 3 at $48.84/hour. The position has three levels: RN 1 is for new graduates or those returning to practice, providing basic nursing care under supervision. RN 2 independently plans and implements care with minimal supervision and begins leadership roles. RN 3 independently plans and implements care with little to no supervision, assumes leadership responsibilities, and has mastered varied competencies, maintaining competency in at least one primary float area.
Requirements
- Current State of Alaska Nursing License
- RN 1: No experience required.
- RN 2: One (1) year of current experience in nursing care.
- RN 3: Three (3) years of current experience in nursing care.
- All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
Nice To Haves
- RN 1: Previous healthcare experience.
- RN 2: Previous healthcare experience.
- RN 2: Six (6) months nursing at BRH (as a substitution for experience).
- RN 3: Previous experience in designated care area.
