About The Position

National Counseling Group (NCG) is seeking qualified (QMHP-C, Resident in Counseling, Licensed) Spanish-speaking Mental Health Professionals to provide Community-Based Services throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. NCG is the premier provider of community-based behavioral health services in Virginia and is looking for dynamic individuals to grow their careers and join their team. The role involves providing services such as Community-Based Intensive In-Home, Mental Health Skill Building, and crisis intervention/case management to individuals meeting behavioral health program criteria. A key requirement is the ability to communicate and understand all Spanish-speaking individuals, speaking and writing Spanish fluently.

Requirements

Bilingual abilities a must; able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently.
Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience working with children/adolescents and adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (or Master’s Degree -preferred) from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
Current QMHP registration from the Virginia Department of Health Professions or state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or a Professional Counselor and able to successfully complete the required pre-employment screenings.
Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
