The Mental Health Professional is responsible for conducting assessments, overseeing service/treatment plans, and providing life skills training. This role involves screening residents, conducting comprehensive intake assessments, and developing individualized service/treatment plans. The professional will facilitate treatment team meetings, provide resource information and referrals, and regularly monitor and update resident plans. Additionally, they will conduct individual and group therapy sessions, create crisis plans, provide crisis intervention, monitor resident safety, and document behavioral changes. The role also includes acting as a liaison with medical and behavioral health professionals, and maintaining accurate and timely charting in ECP.
