About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join their team at Everglades Correctional Institution in Miami, Florida. This role involves providing mental health case management services to patients within a correctional setting. The professional will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Requirements
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or MH Registered Interns.
- Must have active Basic Life Support certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness.
