Requirements

  • Experience in clinical care required
  • Ability to complete First Aid, CPR, verbal/physical de-escalation, and required clinical, regulatory, and HR trainings.
  • Valid Illinois Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to pass required background and compliance screenings
  • Ability to pass employment drug screening
  • Ability to meet Family Solutions documentation, productivity, and quality standards

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical care may also be considered based on qualifications and applicable requirements.
  • Experience in an outpatient or community-based behavioral health setting is preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly English/Spanish, are strongly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct person-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed clinical evaluations, including assessment of mental status, risk factors, strengths, needs, abilities, and client preferences.
  • Gather relevant clinical and historical information, assess client functioning and safety, determine appropriate service needs, and formulate diagnostic impressions using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
  • Partner with clients, families, treatment teams, community providers, and other service agencies to develop meaningful treatment plans focused on individualized goals and medically necessary services.
  • Provide outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, case management, Community Support Services, treatment planning, and other services within the scope of your qualifications and applicable standards.
  • Address client clinical needs in a timely, responsive manner while maintaining a strong focus on safety, client preferences, and positive outcomes.
  • Work closely with clients, families, care providers, community agencies, and the treatment team to coordinate services and support progress toward treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, billing documentation, and other required records.
  • Maintain confidentiality, follow ethical standards, practice within professional qualifications, and comply with Family Solutions policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in professional development, quality and performance improvement initiatives, team meetings, employee surveys, and other activities that support continuous improvement.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards while providing consistent, client-centered services. The expected productivity standard for this position is an average of 28 billable hours per week.
