About The Position
National Counseling Group (NCG), an ncgCARE partner, is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join their team. The role involves leading critical aspects of client care, including crisis intervention, case management, skill-building, and therapeutic interventions. The Mental Health Professional will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help clients build resilience, reach their goals, and thrive. This position is vital in supporting families and children in need and delivering coordinated, individualized care to the community. The role includes responsibilities such as case management and documentation, crisis intervention, service planning and coordination, trauma-informed counseling, individual and family therapy, collaborative communication with professionals, and professional case presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- At least 1 year of experience working with the identified population
- Current QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure (e.g., Resident in Counseling, Supervisee, Associate license)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with care teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
- Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
