About The Position

Grace Harbour is a private outpatient mental health practice with staff in Georgia and South Carolina dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients, strengthening families, and instilling hope in tomorrow. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our team of clinicians have extensive training and experience working with clients of all ages in individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS to join our Functional Family Therapy team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. The FFT Therapist provides treatment services with youth assigned to his/hers caseload following the Functional Family Therapy model practice guidelines. The FFT Therapist participates in all FFT training and consultation activities, program reviews, and markets FFT to the community. The therapist will provide, at a minimum, weekly one-hour, home-based family therapy sessions to clients. Therapists will utilize the FFT model with families who have adolescents between the ages of 10 and 18. Therapists carry a caseload of 10 to 15 families, providing services anywhere from eight to 26+ weeks. This position requires flexibility in hours to meet families when they are available. Deliver individualized therapy to families in home, school, and community settings, using a strengths-based, solution-focused approach. Engage family members in therapy and support their involvement in the treatment process, emphasizing communication, problem-solving, and positive parenting techniques. Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care and support for clients. Provide crisis intervention and support to families dealing with immediate issues or emergencies, while ensuring safety and stability. Be an integral part of a team-orientated environment. Participate in initial and ongoing training, supervision, and team case staffing. This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role. Requirements

  • Candidates possessing a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a closely related field.
