About The Position

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is opening a new female residential behavioral health facility in Cranberry Township, PA and is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care to adolescents in a structured environment focused on healing, growth, and long-term success.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, or behavioral health populations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and behavioral health interventions
  • Ability to work in a residential treatment environment
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Cranberry Township, PA

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Associate (LAPC, LSW, AMLFT) or actively working toward Pennsylvania clinical licensure
  • Experience in residential treatment, inpatient, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient settings
  • Experience facilitating individual, group, or family interventions
  • Knowledge of adolescent mental health, trauma, and behavioral disorders

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide diagnostic impressions
  • Provide individual and group therapy services
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments and progress notes
  • Communicate clinical updates to treatment teams, families, and referral sources
  • Support the safety and structure of the residential environment
  • Participate in therapeutic activities and programming
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Attend staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
