About The Position
The main purpose of this position is to review intake assessments/treatment plans; facilitate and/or supervise individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapeutic services to clients in a Behavioral Health setting. This position also requires administrative functions related to record-keeping duties in accordance with COMAR and CARF.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
- Three years of experience providing professional counseling to clients with mental health disorders by using assessment, evaluation, intervention, rehabilitation and treatment regimens
- Possession of a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties requiring the operation of a motor vehicle)
Nice To Haves
- U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Mental or Behavioral Health Counseling classifications or Mental or Behavioral Health Nursing and Specialist specialty codes in the counseling field of work
