About The Position

As a Primary Therapist at Sandstone Care, you will play a vital role in our mission. You will provide high-quality and empathic therapy to individuals and groups, addressing the root causes of adolescent client's substance use and mental health diagnosis. Facilitate engaging and effective 3-hour clinical groups three times a week, covering topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, and life skills. Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, ensuring that each client receives the best possible care and achieves their recovery goals.

Requirements

Minimum of a Master's degree in a Behavioral Health Science required (clinical social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field)
Licensed clinician in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Provisional Licensed will also be considered (Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy)
Previous experience with treating mental health conditions is required
Preferred experience with a treatment facility in residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) settings is required
